"WHAT WOULD YOU DO?", an activity that you could use with your students any time of the year. In this activity, students will answer specific questions that deal with the "bullying" theme. Could be used as a role playing exercise too! Students will then write a paragraph using the ideas they came up with when answering the questions. Use these activities after reading the novel for a quick assessment tool. Included are questions about the setting, characters, plot and themes. Students also get the opportunity to summarize the novel by using the acrostic template, "Freak the Mighty", and work on some vocabulary found in the novel.
